Aerial East: Portraits, National Sawdust, Brooklyn, NY. May, 2017
Part of the Distrupt series for National Sawdust, this performance used its pensive and calm music, lyrics centering around portraits of teenagers and reflections on being a woman to create a much needed refuge from the current political and cultural climate. "Portraits" is a response to the imagery, sound and chaos of our time and centers around themes of inclusiveness, community building and anxiety relief.
